Punta Negra Reef

Is one of the nicest reefs on the area, on Punta Negra you can see one of the most rich variety of marine species in a small area, from Angel fish to Bullsharks, barracudas, pompanos, nurse sharks, turtles, eels, large crabs, lobsters, and rays between others. most of the species in the carribean are covered here.

The barrier is a long overhang with some current, is a very healthy eco-system and a great dive for photographers which makes for a fascinating and relaxing drift dive.

Since the reef is alligned with the current, is simple to follow the coral filled edge also ligth penetrate the clear water easly and color are abundant.
